As Wayne said below, Not Quite Bernadette is no longer continuing on together.
Nick and myself are still playing music together, and you can check out some very rough demos of that at www.myspace.com/youngling.
Robert is back with our good friends Luke and Chris in their amazing instrumental band that was around far prior to Robert joining NQB. Check them out at www.myspace.com/kirschisamonster.
Also, I have some solo stuff I've been doing on the side for a bit now that you can hear at www.myspace.com/willburr.
We'll keep you updated with what everyone else is doing musically, as well.
Thank you all so much for the past three years. All the support we've gotten is amazing, but even more so; all the friends we have made. I hope you all keep in touch, and I am certain you'll be seeing every one of us again soon. :)

Hello everyone!
So we put up five new tracks for streaming over at www.purevolume.com/notquitebernadette! Please keep in mind that these are all demos we recently recorded ourselves, so the quality isn't quite up to par with our other available music. We've been home working on our debut full-length, "The Ruby Wizard", and we wanted to give you all a taste of our new material, and the new direction we are headed.
We are writing this record in chronological order, and not rehashing any old songs, so as to be a complete and unified album flowing together and evolving, rather than a disassociated collection of songs. We hope you can find the time to listen to Track 01-04 continuously through, as intended. Track 06 is a bit different, as it is an acoustic song that we all recorded and wrote together in a single take, with a single microphone out on a backporch. We hope you enjoy them!
We head into the studio from April through May once again with the amazing sound-guru, our good friend, Bob Hoag. We plan to release the record shortly after that and hit the road again for two years or so.
For all of you in Arizona, we have a show coming up on April 17th at The Clubhouse in Tempe with our good friends In Passing Calvary, Movie Script Ending, Honor Bed, and more. This show is a going away party for Kathy Shellberg who is joining the United States Navy, and it will also be one of our only shows for quite a while. It's only $7 and will get started around 7:00pm, so we hope you can all make it out!
Thank you all so much for your never ending support. We love you all sensational amounts and can't wait to get this new record into your hands and hit the road again to come see you! Hello friends,
I'ts been sometime since We have updated you guys on whats going on so here we go! Currently We are out on tour with two of the most incredible bands i have heard in quite some time, Chiodos, and Portugal. The man. We were fortunate enough to have these two bands ask us to come out with them for about three weeks and We are most definetly having the time of our lives with them. If you have a chance check them out, they will blow your mind.
Were going to be heading home around Thanksgiving to rest for a couple weeks, but them heading out on the road for two weeks with our very best friends The Stilleto Formal. This tour is going to be amazing, so if We are in your town with these guys, definetly check the show out. We also are in need of a name for this tour so if anyone has any ideas, lay them on us, We currently have no ideas.
As soon as were home from the tour with stilleto, We are preparing to record a brand new full length. Along with the full length comes some very exciting suprises, so keep an eye out. So to all our friends, be sure to keep in touch, and hopefully we will see you when We get to your town!

Well, it's been quite some time since you guys have heard from us, and we miss you! We have been home from tour for about the last week and a half and i think i speak for everyone when i say we are dying to get back out there. We had such an incredible time on the road. We've been making alot of new friends, playing alot of frisbee. We beat our new friends from Arkansas in a game of ULTIMATE FRISBEE! They gave us a good game, but were just a bit to skilled for them. Thanks to all the great people who fed us, or gave us a floor to sleep on, or just came to a show and gave us a listen. All you guys helped make our first tour a great experience. We came home with tons of new friends, and it's an awesome feeling.
We have alot coming up here, so anyone who isn't on our mailing list should sign up through our website. In a couple days here we will be heading back out on to the road. For any of our friends in Utah or Colorado, we will be playing the warped tour in Salt Lake on july 17th, and Denver on july
18th. If any of you guys are going to be at the warped tour come check us out! Also, our good friends Before braille will be playing those dates, and they are a band you need to check out for sure if your there. the rest of our dates for this tour will be posted soon. And for our friends here in AZ, we will be home July 31st to play Scary Kids Scaring Kids CD release, along with such local greats as; Greely Esates, Awake and Alert, Ticker Tape Parade, and Before Braille. Its at the venue of scottsdale and as you can tell by the line up it is not a show anyone should miss. Just a couple days later on August 2nd we will be playing at the Sets on mill and southern with our very best friends in the world Stilleto formal, Greely estates, and the Whole Nine. We are going to be going out with the Whole Nine for a little over a week and this show is the kick off show. So come out, hear some great music, and say goodbye.
There is alot more new things going on in the near future so be sure to be visiting our website, saying hi on LJ or myspace, or just Hi in person. We love you guys more than anything and we appreciate the support more than you would know. See you guys soon!

Hey everyone,
It's been some time since we have seen any of you guys, we have taken a bit of a break from playing shows here in Phoenix. But last night we were in riverside playing an NQBBQ at our friend Adams, and it was a great time. So a big thanks to Adam for having us and giving us a chance to break in our new van before summer starts. Some big news that we are really excited about is this sunday and monday, were going to be in the studio with our friend Bob Hoag at Flying Blanket Studios recording two new songs for the the Americopa Mantle compilation. So expect to be able to hear some new material from us in the very near future. As far as shows go, for any of you guys that go to Chandler High school, we will be playing the yearbook signing party. This could be the last Chandler high event we play, because our boys will graduating from there very soon. But were very thankful for all the support they school has given us in the past couple years. The yearbook party is on monday and its starts at six PM. And for all of our other friends the next show we will be playing is may 26th at the Clubhouse. Its with the bands Name Taken, From First To Last, Salem, and Scatter The Ashes. This is one incredible lineup so try to make it out to this one. And it's been awhile since we have Played and WE MISS YOU GUYS! This past week and a half has been quite eventful! We played 2 battle of the bands and won both. The one at Chandler High was extremely fun and we are glad we got to play it. The one that the edge held was also great. We won and got the chance to play the New Times Showcase which took place this past Sunday all up and down Mill ave. in various business. Denver Harbor played at the library right after us and used our equipment which was cool because those guys rock!
We also are gearing up to record two new songs for your listening pleasure. On May 16th and 17th we will be recording them and soon after will make them available for download or you guys can probably get them at our shows.
Don't forget that we have the show on May 26th with Name Taken and From First to Last at the Club House in Tempe, AZ, and we also have a new show on May 5th With Beautiful Mistake, Emery and Anatomy of a Ghost at the Mason Jar in Phoenix, AZ.

hello everyone! It's been a while since we updated and we have much going on. This saturday we will be playing a battle of the bands for the edge 103.9 and all the help we could get would be great so if you can come out this saturday we would love to see your faces. Its at the sets in Tempe on southern and mill. We will be playing around 8:00 PM. Speaking of the edge if you guys are awake tommorow night around midnight we are going to be doing an acoustic song or two on the edge, so if your up check it out! And to all of the people out of state who have checked out our music keep checking the site, because hopefully we will be coming through your town sometime this summer. We played a few rockin shows spanning from the evils of SIN CITY (Las Vegas) to the depths of Tucson, AZ.
